Yes, you can smoke after dental implant surgery…

But it could seriously affect your healing.

Your implant needs time to fuse with the bone, and smoking can reduce blood flow, slow down recovery, increase infection risk, and even put your implant at risk of failure.

Minimum: wait 72 hours.
Better: 1 to 2 weeks.
Best: avoid smoking during healing.

You can smoke… but don’t ruin your implant doing it.
