The role will entail working with various dentists and hygienist as well as carrying out other decontamination and administrative roles within the practice. The right individual should ideally have some previous dental experience as a qualified nurse or be enrolled/enrolling in a training program. We have a great hard working team and seeking another like minded individual who shares our ethos of going that extra mile for our patients.

COVID update

Following the governments announcement of a 3rd national lockdown we can confirm Dental practices will remain OPEN for urgent and non urgent care. Please attend your appointment if you are able to, and if you wish to rearrange please contact us by phone as soon as possible. We have always maintained a strict level of hygiene and we will continue to ensure we are delivering the best possible care in a safe environment.
We will still operate a closed door, appointment only policy. We are so grateful to all our patients who have been so understanding during this terrible time.

COVID-19 UPDATE

Following the governments announcement last night of a second lockdown beginning on Thursday 5th November. I would like to reassure our patients that dental care is considered an essential service. Gatrad and Associates has always maintained a very high standard of infection control and as many of you know we have implemented further measures to operate in a COVID safe manner since we resumed face to face care back in June. We will continue to remain open and operate in the same manner as before. We do not anticipate dental services to be shut in the same manner they were during the first lockdown but we will keep everyone updated if there are any changes. The last few months have been very challenging for everyone but we will continue to do our best to care for our community in London Colney.

Dear All

As many of you may already know, face to face dental services resumed on June 8th. We have been making steady progress to return to a new normal. We have always maintained the highest standard of infection control and have continued. We have had to make some changes to the number of appointments we can offer during the day to accommodate social distancing requirements and surgery downtime during appointments. We continue to offer telephone/video triage appointments as we have found this to be very successful, as many concerns can be managed without having to attend a face to face consultation.

We are looking to move towards opening up for:

Facial Aesthetic Consultations (Anti Wrinkle Treatment)
Invisalign Consultations
Implant Consultations
Check up appointments (individual appointments only not family bookings)
Hygienist Appointments

Regarding check up appointments we anticipate to role this out over the coming weeks, this will still be limited service, with patients at high risk of dental disease given priority. we are still having to cancel several check up appointments, which were booked prior to lock-down due to insufficient space within the diary. However due to changes to the way we are required to work, a scale and polish would no longer be provided as routine under the NHS. Patients who wish to have a scale and polish are still able to book with the hygienist.
