The goal was to preserve what had been achieved with the provisional and carry it through to the final restoration.
The provisional restoration played an essential role in establishing the final shape of the soft tissue 🦷 Once it had been functionally shaped and adapted by the patient, these contours were carefully transferred to the definitive zirconia restoration without altering what had already been achieved.
The gingival tissues had been conditioned and shaped through the provisional, so the definitive restoration was designed to maintain this condition and support the tissues as they continued to develop.
The correct interproximal spaces were preserved to maintain the natural shape of the gingival papillae and allow them to grow into the space ✨
