🚨 92.5 hours of dental care lost in just 5 months 🚨

From 1 January to 1 June 2026:

❌ 220 dental appointments were not attended
❌ 45 hygiene appointments were not attended

That’s a total of 265 missed appointments, resulting in 92.5 hours of unused clinical time — equivalent to 12 full working days.

While one missed appointment may not seem significant, together they have a huge impact on our ability to provide care to patients waiting for treatment.

If you can’t make your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Together, we can reduce wasted appointments and improve access to dental care for everyone. 🦷

Tomorrow we celebrate an incredible milestone as Dave retires from Livingston Dental Care after an amazing 35 years of dedication.

Since opening the practice doors in October 1990, Dave has been at the heart of our journey, building not just a practice, but a community. His commitment, skill, and genuine care for people have made a lasting difference to so many. From the community of Deans and far beyond, patients have travelled from across the country and even overseas specifically to see Dave. That speaks volumes about the trust and respect he has earned throughout his career.

Dave, you haven’t just been a fantastic dentist, you’ve been a mentor, a friend, and a cornerstone of the Livingston Dental Care family. Your presence, wisdom, and warm sense of humour will be greatly missed each and every day.

While it’s hard to imagine the practice without you, we know this next chapter is so well deserved. May your retirement be filled with relaxation, adventure, and precious time with your family.

You will always be welcomed back with a warm smile and open arms.

We are delighted to welcome Paul to our team! He has deep roots in West Lothian, having lived locally for 25 years and tracing his family history in the area back over 250 years. You may already recognise him - Paul is a familiar face, having worked in the Bathgate and Linlithgow communities for more than 11 years.

Paul also brings an exceptional professional background, with training from some of the most prestigious institutions across the UK and Europe.
