This patient came to me with older crowns and restorations that had begun to look dated, with differences in colour, shape and proportions across the smile. The existing dentistry lacked some of the translucency and natural character we can achieve with modern ceramics.

We replaced the old restorations and transformed the smile using a combination of Emax porcelain crowns and veneers, carefully designed to create better proportions, symmetry and a softer, more natural appearance.

The goal was never a row of identical, ultra-white teeth. Every detail was considered — subtle translucency, individual anatomy, surface texture and character — to create a smile that feels fresh and beautifully natural.

Just 2 layered composite veneers were created using Dr Natalie’s Just Like Teeth™ protocol to reshape the teeth, close unwanted black triangles and improve the overall symmetry of the smile.

Careful layering allowed Dr Natalie to mask the recession and exposed root surface while maintaining beautifully natural proportions.

Sometimes the perfect smile isn’t about creating perfectly straight, identical teeth. It’s about understanding the patient’s individual smile and knowing how to work with what’s already there.

This patient had a particularly tricky bite which couldn’t be fully corrected with braces, so careful planning was essential when designing her new smile.

Her wish was for teeth that were white but still natural, widening her smile, improving symmetry and creating a result that felt completely appropriate for her age.

Using Dr Natalie’s bespoke Just Like Teeth™ technique, each tooth was individually designed and layered to work harmoniously around the existing bite, while adding natural shape, texture and character using Tokuyama Dental Europe products

Restoring a smile like this takes far more than simply replacing old composite. It requires careful planning, artistry and an understanding of how to create harmony when nature has given us an unusual starting point.

This patient was missing one lateral incisor, with the canine orthodontically moved into its place, while the opposite side presented with a small peg lateral. The existing composite was poorly shaped, beginning to break down and no longer complemented the smile.

Using Dr Natalie’s bespoke Just Like Teeth technique, every restoration was completely redesigned to create a balanced, natural smile with beautiful proportions and seamless transitions between each tooth.

The transformation is immediate, but the result will become even more lifelike over the next few days as the teeth rehydrate, allowing the composite to blend even more naturally into the smile.

Composite bonding isn’t just about making teeth look beautiful it’s about creating a smile that functions beautifully too.

Before placing any composite, it’s essential to understand why the teeth have chipped in the first place. If the natural teeth are breaking because of the bite, the composite will be subjected to the very same forces.

That’s why orthodontic treatment came first in this case. By correcting the bite and creating the ideal space, we were able to build strong, natural-looking composite restorations with longevity in mind.

Some smiles are far more challenging than they first appear, and this beautiful young lady’s smile was definitely one of them.

After years of orthodontic treatment, it was time for the icing on the cake just in time for her sweet 16th birthday tomorrow.

This was a particularly tricky composite bonding case because recreating the natural tooth shade required a great deal of attention to detail. Faridah’s teeth had fluorosis, creating a unique blend of white opacities alongside warm yellow tones that needed to be carefully matched. Tokuyama Dental Europe products are perfect for cases like this!

Using Dr Natalie’s signature layered composite technique, special effects and delicate surface textures were incorporated to mimic the natural characteristics of her front teeth. The result is composite veneers that blend seamlessly into her smile, looking beautifully natural while preserving her individuality.
