There are two types of dentures to choose from, the first is a full denture which completely replaces all of the natural teeth within either the upper or lower jaw. The second type of denture is a partial denture. A partial denture is used to fill in any spaces which have been created by missing teeth. Partial dentures are attached to natural teeth through metal clasps called precision attachments.

Dentures can also be either Conventional or Immediate. Conventional Dentures are inserted after the tissue around removed teeth has healed while Immediate Dentures are immediately inserted after teeth have been removed. A benefit of Immediate Dentures is that the wearer does not need to be without teeth during the healing period.
