Our mission is to create natural confidence by helping you achieve a beautiful, healthy smile of which you can be truly proud. We are dedicated to providing patient-led, preventive and cosmetic dental care that you will trust and appreciate. By joining The Smile Centre, Liskeard, you too will enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your dental health is in expert hands. We look forward to meeting you and your family and caring for your long-term dental health in a thoughtful and experienced manner. Our father and son dentist team bring you the best of both worlds – a modern approach to dentistry combined with traditional attitudes to your care. Chris Smirthwaite has owned The Smile Centre since 1980 and was joined by his son, Dan in 2014. Supporting our dentists is our talented dental therapist, Vicky. The inclusion of a dental therapist to our team means Smile Centre patients have prompt access to a range of qualified dental professionals to ensure their health and dental desires are well catered for in a timely and unhurried way. We make use of precision technology including mouth cancer screening equipment called Velscope, air flow to remove stubborn stains and intra-oral cameras, which can magnify teeth up to 15 times, allowing our clinicians to diagnose problems earlier and achieve pinpoint accuracy during restorative and cosmetic treatments.
