Bringing a little bit of spring indoors 🌿
One of our favourite little touches at The Dental Barns — freshly cut flowers and greenery from beside Blackbrook, brought straight into the patient lounge this morning 🌸
There’s something calming about natural textures, soft greenery, and seasonal changes throughout the practice. Small details, but they really change how a space feels.
Keely’s top tips for bringing the outdoors in:
1️⃣ Give stems a gentle wash
A quick rinse in cool water helps remove little bugs and pollen. A tiny drop of mild washing-up liquid in the sink works well too.
2️⃣ Cut stems at an angle ✂️
Fresh angled cuts help flowers absorb more water. Early morning picking usually gives the best results as the plants are more hydrated.
3️⃣ Change the water regularly 💧
Fresh cool water every 1–2 days makes a huge difference. Removing leaves below the water line also helps flowers last longer.
Sometimes luxury is less about “more” — and more about connection to simple, natural things 🌿
