ITS HALLOWEEN WEEK! 🎃👻
We know that Halloween = sweets 🍬!!
Sweets are full of sugar which is what causes tooth decay. In 2022 the Official Statistics
National Dental Epidemiology Programme (NDEP) for England carried out a survey that found 23.7% of 5 year olds in the UK have had tooth decay and that number is only rising. Although we know all you little ones will be having lots of fun trick or treating this Halloween and here at Bore Street Dental Practice we will also be joining in with the fun and eating a couple of sweets 🤫, there are ways we can reduce our risks of getting tooth decay and generally being mindful of our oral health whilst still enjoying this spooky season! 🤫
