Rukshana came to Care Dental Leicester after experiencing ongoing problems from dental treatment she had done in Turkey, including implants, root canals, and crowns.
She was left with pain and speech issues, particularly affecting her pronunciation. At Care Dental, we focus not only on how your smile looks, but also how it functions, ensuring comfort, proper phonetics, and long-term results.
Before finding us, Rukshana had already undergone further treatment with two UK dentists, spending significant amounts of money, but her issues were still unresolved.
At her first visit, we carried out a full assessment using CBCT (3D) scans, intraoral scans, and detailed photography. We then carefully planned every aspect of her treatment.
Her upper teeth were completely redesigned to improve both aesthetics and speech. After testing the design to ensure correct phonetics, we fitted her final Emax crowns.
Her lower implants were also causing problems, including food trapping due to their position. While not everything could be reversed, we significantly improved the outcome by adjusting the front implants and creating a more natural, gum-fitting restoration. This eliminated food trapping and improved comfort, alongside guidance on maintaining oral hygiene.
