Private practice in Leicester LE6 recruiting experienced GDC registered Dental Nurse, part time or full time considered.

Crofton House Dental Practice is a small, well established, fully private dental practice looking for an experienced dental nurse to join our friendly team.

We are located within easy distance from A50/A46/M1.

Our ideal candidate would be extremely well organised, friendly, flexible, reliable and compassionate, who is completely patient focussed and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Someone who is confident and comfortable with all aspects of clinical duties as well as reception duties. This will also include administrative duties such carrying out audits, maintaining patient records and databases, following up lapsed patients, maintaining a full appointment book.

Compliance Support is available via Rightpath4.

Knowledge of using Dentally would be useful.

Our successful candidate will benefit from GDC registration costs and CPD being covered.

We are committed to supporting the health, safety and well being of our staff and service users. We regularly monitor and update our processes in line with evolving recommendations and legislation.

Expected Start Date: November 2023

Hours: From 8.30 to 17.30

Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour

Did you know the UK government plans to add 20% VAT back on PPE from tomorrow?
Millions of us require personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect ourselves and others. All healthcare workers need to use PPE daily to do their jobs. Health services, including private services, are generally exempt from VAT, and we believe PPE used in healthcare should be treated in the same way.
PPE has become even more essential since COVID19 . Whether this is gloves, masks, visors, aprons, gowns or eye protection; they create a barrier for the wearer between blood, bodily fluids, or respiratory secretions. Employers have to provide appropriate PPE to their employees wherever there is a risk to health and safety.
Dental practices and care homes cannot claim back the VAT so this is a real business expense.
There should be no VAT on these essential lifesaving items. I want the Government to permanently exempt the VAT on PPE and have started a petition. Please sign
