Not your usual media post on dental treatment ... BUT did you know composite bonding can also be done on the LOWER teeth. This patient came in to have her lower teeth done after having her upper teeth done.

NO INJECTIONS...

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining the adjacent teeth to the gaps using crowns.

This helps to restore function of chewing and speaking whilst prevent teeth from drifting. Moreover, the teeth helps support the surrounding soft tissues and does not move around like dentures?

This case was restored with composite bonding/veneers on the upper teeth and a 6 teeth bridge in the lower arch after losing 2 more lower front teeth!

DEDICATION, PASSION, WILINGNESS to excel, AND having the right TEACHERS to guide you is crucial to achieving success be it at work, at home with the help of PARENTS, or throughout your school/college/University life.

This case was treated with Invisalign initially to redistribute the spaces and position the teeth in a way to achieve ideal ratios and symmetry. Thereafter, whitening was done. Finally the old composite and porcelain restorations were removed and replaced with composite bonding/veneers/crowns!

Q. What is INTERNAL TEETH WHITENING?

Internal Tooth Whitening is a procedure that is commonly performed on discoloured teeth due to trauma or after an endodontic dental treatment (root canal treatment). Of course, this isn’t going to be the answer for every tooth that has a grey or dark discolouration. It comes down to what the cause of the staining is. Note; root canal is a prerequisite to internal whitening.

It may be done as a solution to avoid any invasive treatments such as veneers or crowns (as seen in the pics above), or as a combination of veneers and crowns to improve the overall shade of the tooth.

It takes a lot of hard work, time, motivation, effort, dedication and costs ... to maintain good dental health as much as it does to achieve a beautiful smile; more so in cases where teeth are crowded or teeth that may be heavily restored.
