We are recruiting!

Waterer Dental Care is seeking a friendly Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our lovely team here in Leek Staffordshire. The role requires you to mainly perform reception duties however at times you will be required to work in surgery/decontamination room as a dental nurse.
The practice is fully private and offers a wide range of treatments including routine dental treatment, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, Implant/sinus lift surgery and cosmetic braces. We are currently looking for a bubbly, confident individual to join our experienced team.
Role requirements:
Reception duties
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer telephone calls
• Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
• Book and amend Patient dental appointments
• Take payments for appointments and sundries sales
• Perform other banking duties
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Provide administrative support to staff as needed
• Monitoring emails
Nursing duties
• Comfortable in assisting the clinical team in providing and maintaining outstanding patient care
• Confident in following practice decontamination and infection control policies and procedures and work to current guidelines and legislation in relation to confidentiality and GDPR
• Participate in, and contribute, to practice meetings
• Understand and follow the patient journey
• GDC Registered with up-to-date CPD including recent infection prevention control certificates
• Level 3 Dental Nurse Qualification or equivalent with current GDC Registration

Your Working hours will be: Mondays and Wednesdays 8am – 5pm, Tuesdays 9.30am – 6.30pm and Fridays 8am - 3pm. 1 hour lunch Monday – Wednesday and 30 minutes on a Friday. If preferred we could also accommodate full time hours working 8am - 5pm on a Thursday.
Full induction programme, full uniform and all PPE provided. Further training for additional qualification/roles/procedures will also be offered throughout employment.

A little sugary treat......
On Tuesday two of our staff received a little naughty treat from one of our patients to say Thank you for arranging an emergency appointment and sorting out consequent treatment/appointments. This was very well received by them and we can confirm the bars didn't last long 🤣😜
The practice is always proud to hear such positive feedback and appreciation of our staff. We pride ourselves on all patients receiving a positive dental experience.

Last few days left...
National Smile Month is a Nationwide campaign aiming to improve dental health. Our annual information stand has been displayed in our reception area for the last three weeks where patients have been able to help themselves to some dental freebies too!
