What an amazing evening we had last Tuesday at our Dental Implant Study Club!

It was such a pleasure to welcome other dental professionals to Enhance Dental for an evening of learning, discussion and connection, led by our dental implant expert, Dr Alex Asquith.

We loved having the opportunity to share knowledge, talk through implant cases, and spend time with colleagues from our local dental community.

We are so proud of our team for putting together such a fantastic event, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended. We really appreciate you taking the time to join us and make the evening such a success.

We’re looking forward to hosting our Educational Implant Open Evening for local dental professionals on Tuesday 12th May, 6pm to 8pm. ✨

We’re proud to support many local practices who refer their patients to us for dental implants and IV sedation, and this evening is a great opportunity to share knowledge, discuss real cases, and strengthen those relationships.

Led by Dr Alex and our team, the evening will cover referral pathways, restorative planning, and long term maintenance, with 2 hours of verifiable CPD provided.

Nibbles will be provided by Sweden & Martina.

Our patient came to us feeling conscious of worn edges on their canines and incisors, along with some discolouration. While alignment wasn’t a major concern, they wanted to improve the overall shape and brightness of their smile.

We started with professional whitening to lift the shade, followed by carefully placed composite bonding to restore the natural shape and smooth away the wear.

A simple, minimally invasive approach, creating a fresher, brighter, more balanced smile 😊

As always, this patient maintains regular dental visits and had a healthy foundation before starting treatment.

This highlights the areas where plaque is being missed during brushing. The darker the dye, the more frequently those areas are being overlooked, most commonly between the teeth where flossing or interdental cleaning isn’t being done daily.

Disclosing agents are used as an educational tool to give patients a clear, visual understanding of their oral hygiene. They allow us to demonstrate effective brushing techniques, including correct toothbrush grip, angle, and brushing motion, as well as help size the appropriate interdental brushes for cleaning between the teeth.
