Simulation versus reality, are they accurate?

Here you can see our patient simulation, which was created digitally before starting treatment, and see the actual tooth movement which was recorded via Dental Monitoring.

Creating a smile like this predictably involves multiple factors, such as through case assessment, compliance of our patients with wearing the aligners as instructed, and staging tooth movements appropriately.

This patient’s main concern was the severe crowding upper and lower, making it difficult to clean her teeth properly.

She wasn’t sure if teeth straightening would be powerful enough to fully correct the crowding of her front teeth.

We carefully planned her teeth straightening journey, to ensure we not only corrected her crowded teeth, but also aligned all her other teeth, to provide a beautiful aligned arch form.

This was done using ClearCorrect clear aligners, an option that fitted perfectly into her busy lifestyle.

This is one of the most important stages because it lets us check the fit, bite, comfort, and appearance before your final denture is completed.

At this stage we can make small adjustments to improve:

Please give a warm welcome to Dr Emelia Joyner, who has joined the Indigo Dental family!

Emelia qualified as a Dentist from the University of Sheffield in 2024 with honours, having previously completed a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2019.

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in gum health and the management of periodontal disease. She especially enjoys working with children and helping nervous patients feel at ease, creating a relaxed and positive experience for everyone she treats. She is committed to further developing her skills and regularly attends courses to expand her knowledge.

Implants are most commonly used to replace single teeth or to fill a small gap where several adjacent teeth are missing.
