We recently had the pleasure of meeting this patient and her family, who are delighted with the treatment outcome and have kindly allowed us to share them, and provided a lovely testimonial.

The patient had brown and white discolouration of the upper central incisor teeth which persisted despite all attempts to scrub and brush it off.

Mum had researched the issue and felt that her daughter may have Molar-incisal-hypoplasia (MIH); where the enamel is disturbed in some way, often by a raised body temperature when ill as a baby, during the time where this part of the enamel was being laid down.

Treatment undertaken was:

🦷 Surface stain removal using soft air abrasion powder to remove extrinsic stains.
🦷 Localised tooth whitening programme to treat the brown stains, with only the affected upper central incisor teeth.
🦷 ICON resin infiltration to treat the residual white speckling
