A CROSSBITE is often perceived as a problem affecting just one tooth, but in reality, it can have a significant impact on the function and stability of the entire bite.

🦷In this case, correcting the crossbite achieved far more than simply moving an individual tooth into a better position. Orthodontic treatment allowed the surrounding teeth to align more harmoniously, improved the relationship between the upper and lower arches, and established a more balanced occlusion.

🦷When a crossbite is left untreated, it can contribute to uneven tooth wear, abnormal biting forces, compromised function, and, in some cases, unwanted tooth movement over time. By correcting the position of the affected tooth, we were also able to optimise the way the teeth meet together, creating a healthier and more stable bite.

🦷Successful orthodontics is not just about creating a straighter smile, it is about achieving the correct relationship between all the teeth, improving function, enhancing aesthetics, and promoting long-term oral health.

This transformation demonstrates how addressing a single crossbite can positively influence the entire dentition, resulting in a more functional, balanced, and confident smile.

💫Check out this transformation! 💫

Our patient started with a noticeable overjet and crowding. With Invisalign, we corrected both the protrusion and aligned those crowded teeth. Finishing with tooth whitening creating a well-aligned, balanced smile, 😁

💫Honoured to receive this mentoring award, something I’m incredibly proud of and grateful for. Supporting clinicians as they grow in confidence with aligner treatment has become a really meaningful parts of my journey.

Mentoring, to me, is about sharing practical experience, from refining treatment planning and staging to building predictable workflows that make everyday cases run more smoothly. Seeing colleagues develop their skills and achieve fantastic outcomes for their patients makes it all worthwhile.

I’m thankful to be part of such a supportive community where we continue to learn from each other and keep pushing aligner treatment forward.

💍 Summer 2026 brides

Just a little reminder that it’s only a few months until the summer wedding season and that August is only 6 months away!
So if you are thinking about perfecting your smile here is a useful timeline for some of the important treatments you could have.
A confident, refined smile takes time, and the order matters.
You can have any of the below separately but if you would like all three there is a specific order.

The Bridal Smile Timeline

▫️ Invisalign
Discreet, tailored alignment to perfect your smile foundation.
Mild crowding 3-6 months.
Complex cases 9-12+ months

▫️ Professional Whitening
Completed after straightening, allowing 2–3 weeks for optimal results.
Investment: £400–£520

▫️ Composite Bonding
The final refinement — enhancing shape, balance, and symmetry.
Investment: Ranges from £150-£300 per tooth and does depend on number of surfaces.

The sequence is key:
Invisalign → Whitening → Composite Bonding

Begin early, plan beautifully, and walk down the aisle with quiet confidence 🤍

✨ Invisalign Open Bite Transformation ✨
One of the most common myths we hear is that “Invisalign can’t achieve what fixed braces can.”

This patient presented with a significant anterior open bite, where the front teeth don’t meet even when the back teeth are in contact. Open bites can affect function, speech, chewing efficiency, and long-term dental health, and many people assume they can only be corrected with fixed braces.

✔️ Using Invisalign’s advanced digital planning
✔️ Optimised attachments
✔️ Controlled vertical movement
✔️ Precision staging
✔️Al Dental Monitoring

…we were able to successfully align the arches, close the anterior open bite, and create a stable, functional bite. All with comfortable, removable, nearly invisible aligners.

The before-and-after speaks for itself.
Invisalign isn’t just for “simple cases” anymore. With the right planning and clinical experience, it’s an incredibly powerful orthodontic tool.

If you’re considering treatment and wondering whether Invisalign can help your bite, book a consultation and let us show you what’s possible. ✨
