Meet Simona, one of our lovely Dental Nurses!

Simona has been a qualified Dental Nurse for the past two years, following two years of training in the profession. Before beginning her career in dentistry, she worked as a General Nurse for four years, giving her a strong background in healthcare and patient care.
With experience in both general nursing and dental nursing, Simona brings a caring, calm and supportive approach to the practice. She enjoys being part of the dental team and helping patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their appointments.

Outside of work, family is a huge part of Simona’s life. She loves spending time with her children and is almost always with the kids, whether they’re heading out together, enjoying family time at home or keeping busy with everyday adventures. When she does get a little time to herself, she enjoys listening to music, cleaning and going on long walks.

A few fun facts about Simona: she loves chocolate and coffee, and she’s also the proud owner of four guinea pigs — so between the children and the guinea pigs, there’s never a dull moment in her household!

We’re delighted to have Simona as part of our team!

Meet Keval, our new Associate Dentist! 🦷

Keval’s interest in dentistry started at a young age after he broke a tooth and found himself spending quite a bit of time at the dentist. What could have been an unpleasant experience instead sparked a genuine curiosity about dentistry and eventually inspired him to pursue it as a career. Today, one of the things he enjoys most about being a dentist is helping people feel comfortable and confident in their everyday lives — whether that’s being able to eat, smile or function comfortably.

He has a particular interest in adhesive and biomimetic dentistry, taking an approach that aims to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible. Always keen to continue developing his skills, Keval will also soon be starting a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Keval loves travelling and has already explored nearly 40 countries 🌍. When he’s closer to home, you’ll usually find him enjoying football, playing video games or spending time with his wife and dog. And if you ever need a conversation starter, ask him about his sneaker collection — he’s a big fan!

We’re excited to have Keval as part of the team and look forward to you getting to know him too.

Restoring function. Rebuilding confidence.

This patient came to see our lovely Dr Sameerah Aurangzeb and attended with a heavily broken-down upper left lateral incisor requiring restorative treatment.

🦷 Treatment included:
• Root canal treatment to treat and preserve the tooth
• Placement of a post for additional support
• A custom-made crown to restore the tooth’s shape, strength and appearance

The result? A tooth that has been restored both functionally and aesthetically, helping it blend naturally back into the patient’s smile. 🤍

📩 Thinking you may need restorative treatment? Contact The Gallery Dental Practice to book a consultation and discuss your options.

*Treatment is individually assessed and results may vary*

Ever wondered why we snore? 💤

Snoring happens when the tissues around the airway relax during sleep, narrowing the space for air to flow and causing the surrounding tissues to vibrate.

But what does this have to do with dentistry? 👀

Stay tuned for the next post in our anti-snoring series!
