When it comes to orthodontic treatment, starting at the right time can make a real difference.

Not every child needs braces straight away. In fact, sometimes the best treatment is to wait and monitor growth.

But an early orthodontic assessment can identify problems while your child is still developing - when we may have opportunities to guide growth and tooth development.

🦷👧 When should my child see an Orthodontist? 👦🦷

The answer might surprise you...

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that every child has an orthodontic assessment between the ages of 7 and 8.

This doesn't mean they'll need braces at this age it simply allows us to identify any problems early and decide whether treatment is needed now or whether it's best to monitor growth until the right time.
