*OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT*

This is the news we have been waiting to give you!

Following months of hard work and testing, we have just completed a successful health board inspection and can confirm we will be opening on Monday 6th July.

There will be a large demand from within our patient community and we will be scheduling appointments in line with the Scottish Government recommendations.
This means we will need to consider
-The urgency of patient needs
-The requirements of any vulnerable groups
-Our available capacity
-All of the safety guidelines we are receiving from our regulators taking into account Standard Operating Procedures including Infection Prevention and Control and PPE.

We will initially be managing urgent and emergency care, and will be contacting patients directly who have suffered dental emergencies during lockdown to arrange appropriate appointments.

Following this, and in line with the gradual easing of government restrictions, we will be offering routine care and will contact patients when this resumes.

We would encourage our patients to visit our webpage www.redburndental.com for full information of the new patient journey in the practice, and see what to expect at your next appointment. It may feel slightly awkward at first, but we will make it smooth with your help. Right now, as has so often been the case, the actual dentistry seems to be the straightforward part!

We also want to take this opportunity to say we are extremely grateful for all the messages of kindness, support and thanks we have received from our patients during lockdown. Thank you - it is very much appreciated !

While a number of challenges remain, we are all very much looking forward to offering face to face care for our valued patients. Rest assured, we will be working flat-out to get back to a full schedule and serve you all as quickly as we can.
