At Castle Park Dental Care, we work closely with local dentists to provide advanced and specialist dental treatment for referred patients.

Our passion is life-changing dentistry - restoring confidence, improving function and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes. We support practices with dental implant referrals, endodontic treatment, periodontal care, CBCT scans and anti-snoring appliances.

When you refer to us, your patient is in safe and experienced hands. We welcome case discussions prior to referral and maintain clear communication throughout treatment.

Most importantly, we respect your patient relationship. Once treatment is complete, your patient is returned to you promptly with a full clinical report for ongoing care.

September, with World Alzheimer’s Day on 21 September 2026. The official global campaign theme for 2026 is "The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters," focusing heavily on early detection, clinical trials, and breaking the stigma surrounding dementia.

Research shows a two-way link between oral health and Alzheimer's disease. Poor gum health and harmful bacteria like Porphyromonas gingivalis can travel to the brain and cause chronic inflammation. Conversely, as Alzheimer's progresses, memory loss and motor difficulties make daily dental care very hard to maintain.

Care Challenges in Alzheimer's
🟢Forgotten routines: Memory loss leads people to forget if or when they brushed their teeth.
🟢Physical trouble: Poor hand control makes holding a toothbrush or flossing difficult.
🟢Communication barriers: People with advanced dementia may feel tooth pain but cannot explain why they are upset or refusing food.

Tips for Daily Dental Care
🟢Establish routines: Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste using a calm, step-by-step approach.
🟢Assist gently: Caregivers can use the "tell-show-do" method, explaining each action before touching the teeth.
🟢Adapt visits: Schedule regular dental check-ups, and ask if the dentist can visit in a familiar setting if the clinic causes too much stress

Private dentistry provides faster appointment access, longer consultation times, and a broader selection of cosmetic and advanced restorative treatments than public healthcare systems like the NHS. While dentists in both sectors are regulated to the same high clinical standards, private funding frees clinicians from state contract limitations, allowing them to invest more time and premium materials into your care.

We have emergency appointments available for registered and non registered patients. Call 01482 770597 to book.

bruxism mouth guards are a protective dental appliance designed to act as a barrier between your upper and lower teeth, preventing enamel wear and reducing jaw tension caused by involuntary teeth grinding or clenching.

We offer mouthguards precision-crafted by a dental professional from an impression or a 3D digital scan of your teeth. The mouthguard offers the highest level of comfort, maintains an optimal jaw alignment, and provides maximum protection for severe grinding.
