There's still a couple of places left at our next After-school Kids Cookalong. We'll be learning to make delicious bean loaded nachos. There'll be lots of chopping to pile the toppings on (think Mexican flavours) with plenty of colourful veg, punchy flavours and full tummies guaranteed. And we'll squeeze in a quick dessert too!

Kendal Adventure Club film night at The Eddington!

A monthly adventure film and speaker event, this evening will showcase a programme of short films including Find Mor, Circuit of Cornwall, In the Footsteps of Banryu, and Calanais, plus a Q&A with the Find Mor team. Join us for some half-term fun at our Kids Cookalong!

📅Monday 16th February, 10:30am-1pm, at The Eddington, Kendal.

This Kids Cookalong is a very special one as we take a delicious journey into Afghan cuisine. Together, we’ll learn how to make Aushak — traditional Afghan stuffed dumplings that are as fun to make as they are to eat.

There’ll be plenty of rolling and cutting, stuffing and steaming, with hands-on cooking from start to finish. It’s set to be a lively, creative session full of new flavours and big smiles.

We’re also thrilled to be joined by our friend and exceptional home cook, Najla, who will be sharing her top tips and stories as we cook along together.

Our Vegan Haggis was a HIT at our Kendal People's Café on Saturday!

So many of you asked for the recipe after Burns Night. It completely flew off the table and we love how popular it’s been!

If you fancy making it at home, here’s the recipe card we used. It’s hearty, comforting, budget-friendly and properly Burns-Night-approved. Perfect with neeps and tatties, or popped in the freezer for later.
