Childrenās Brushing Mistakes Parents Often Miss
Most parents know the importance of getting children to brush twice a day - but a few small mistakes can make a big difference to their dental health.
Some of the most common include:
⢠Brushing for less than two minutes
⢠Missing the teeth right at the back
⢠Rinsing with water straight after brushing
⢠Using too much or too little toothpaste
⢠Letting children brush completely unsupervised too early
Children often need help with brushing until theyāre around 7 or 8 years old, even if they seem confident doing it themselves.
A few extra minutes spent helping them now can help prevent cavities and build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
