Fartown Dental Practice are looking for a part time dentist to join the
team.

We are located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and running a 5 surgery
practice with 2 dentists and 1 therapist currently working at the
practice.

We offer both NHS and private treatments which we are looking to expand treatments offered at

The practice is using SOE and digital x-rays and we also have an in
house cerec machine.

Just to let you know that Fartown Dental practice is going back to offering regular check ups and are no longer just running as an urgent dental centre .
We are going to work as hard as we can to catch up with everyone.

Fartown dental practice is an emergency dental centre and has been for a few weeks .

The Chief Dental Officer announced that dental practices in England can reopen from the 8th of June. This means we can see you face to face for emergencies.

Our priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been the safety of all our staff and patients and this will remain our top priority.

We will continue to telephone triage as we have been doing for the last couple of months and refer patients into the practice if they require emergency treatment. We will not be resuming routine dental treatment at the moment but this will change in the near future.

The Fartown dental team would like to thank you in advance for your patience, understanding and co-operation and will continue you to update you of any changes.

Just an update
We are trying our hardest to reopen but there are problems with PPE and protocols that need to be put in place , as soon as we are ready to go we will let you know , this will only be for emergencies .
It’s only a matter of time .

UPDATE: Helpline service available.

The practice remains closed following strict instructions from NHS England.

We have decided to operate a help line service from:

-Monday to Friday
-9am to 5pm
-Contact telephone number 01484545045

This service is for patients that need advice. If we cannot help over the phone we can tell you which services are available to you to help.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Hi everyone
hope your all keeping nice and safe??
just think now you have so much time to look after your teeth!! what luxury ,
just in case you have forgotten here's the low down

start the day getting in-between the teeth, no rush ,is there??
so easy 6 minutes gently getting between, take your time
then split your mouth into quarters for toothbrushing.
one and a half minutes per quarter of the mouth.
All those using normal toothbrushes, gentle, treat the teeth like babies so no damage gets done.
Electric tooth brushers, the toothbrush will stop damage if too much pressure is used.

And then just spit!!
Somehow the toothpaste seems to taste much stronger when i am home, so i spit more!!

that's used up some time of the day!!

Unfortunately Fartown Dental Practice has been directed to close .
We are operating a telephone service to try and help .
We are waiting on instructions as to where emergencies can be seen .
All staff are to be moved to these centres as soon as we know where to go .
Only staff at high risk are not going .
Once we know more we will let you know .
Remember keep isolated to keep safe .
