Splash Orthodontics is the new name for a long established, specialist orthodontics practice. Orthodontic dentistry has been provided from the premises on Sackville Road for 20 years. The new owner and lead clinician is Iain Hoeltschi who has 16 years experience in the orthodontic specialism and is welcoming new patients for free consultations. The friendly and professional staff at Splash are kee

n to understand what outcomes you are looking for and assist Iain to explain the treatments available to you. Because Iain is the only orthodontist at Splash, you cannot get lost in a long list of patients but instead we can really focus on your care. We can tailor our service to exactly what you need and when you want it. Appointments are available early morning - from 9 and up to 6 in the evening. Iain is an experienced provider of Invisalign (the invisible braces that can be removed for eating and important meetings!) The team would be happy to talk you through the process of teeth straightening and patiently answer your queries. When you are completely happy we can embark on a life changing journey to achieve straighter teeth and a great, confident smile.

Clear aligner prices are changing – but not until January 🦷⁠

If you've been researching clear aligners, you may have heard that, following a recent Upper Tribunal ruling, they will soon be subject to VAT. From September, this will apply to clear aligner products supplied to practices, increasing the cost of providing treatment. Your clinical care is unaffected – this change will only apply to the aligners themselves.⁠

This will mean a change to our prices, but the good news is that we've decided to absorb this cost and hold our prices until January 2027, so if you've been thinking about straightening your smile, it's time to book your consultation! 🥳⁠

You can also customise them with coloured elastics, from subtle white and clear to bright pink and blue 🩷💙. Some children may also be given a functional appliance to help guide the development of their jaws.⁠

If your child would prefer something more discreet, we offer clear aligners and gold and clear fixed braces privately. Private consultations cost £99 and include an NHS assessment, redeemable against the cost of private treatment.⁠
