Meet Sharon. 💙

Chances are, if you've been coming to us for a while, you already know her, she's been part of the furniture here at 5 Dental & Skin for nearly 30 years.

There's something lovely about that kind of familiarity. You walk in and there's a face you know, someone who remembers your name, maybe even your kids' names.

In a dental practice, that matters more than people realise. It's one less unfamiliar thing on a day that can already feel a bit nerve wracking for some of our patients.

Outside of work, Sharon's happiest spending time with her grandchildren, catching up with friends, and planning her next trip away.

Thank you for everything you do, Sharon. Here's to many more years (as you aren't allowed to retire any time soon!😅). 💗

Feeling nervous about visiting the dentist is something so many of us understand, and it's often the reason people put off treatment for months or even years. As dentists, we see it all the time, and we want you to know there is a way through it.

IV conscious sedation is one of the kindest options we offer nervous patients.

When the blooper is better than the take 🦷😂

We had a whole "Fun Fact Friday" planned... and this happened instead. So here's the fact Anita never quite made it to:

Did you know your teeth are as unique as your fingerprints?

No two people, not even identical twins, have the same bite. That's exactly why dental records (and yes, custom mouthguards!) are used for identification.

And the real fun fact? It was Anita's birthday yesterday 🎂

So really she deserved a stress-free take, but instead we got this gem.

Happy belated birthday, Anita, you absolute legend!
