Correcting orthodontic issues in adults can be tricky because the jawbones have fullyformed, but with the right planning, we can achieve fantastic, lasting results.
In this case, we started treatment with a specialized device called a Hyrax expander. We successfully widened the upper arch without needing a surgical procedure. By widening the upper arch, we made sure the top and bottom teeth fit togetherperfectly, giving the patient a healthy, comfortable bite.
Instead of using dental implants to replace the missing back teeth, we took a natural approach. We carefully moved the patient’s existing teeth forward to close the gaps completely—saving them from needing extra surgery or artificial implants.
The result is a great-looking smile with a strong, natural bite that will last.
Modern orthodontics is about much more than just straight teeth—it’s about restoringhow your teeth look, feel, and work together using your body's natural potential.

Many adults live decades without their upper primary canines falling out because the permanent teeth behind them are “stuck” in the bone (impacted). Although, baby teeth can help aesthetically for a while, but they cannot replace permanent teeth in the long term from a physiological and functional point of view.
Canines are the cornerstones of the dental arch; these teeth have the longest, most stable roots to withstand the heaviest chewing loads throughout life.
They also play an outstanding role in joint and tooth protection (canine guidance): when the jaw moves sideways during chewing, the canines guide the movement of the jaw. This relieves the other teeth and the masticatory joint from overload, preventing wear, breakage of the back teeth and joint pain. Primary teeth were not designed by nature for the loads of adulthood; their roots slowly resorb over the years, so they can loosen, become infected or fall out at any time. When they fall out, the bone that holds the tooth in place can absorbed a bit locally, which will make it much more difficult to place an implant later.
Last, but not least, the curvature of the canine tooth provides the natural support for the face and upper lip.
For the reasons listed, we consider it important to try to conjure the permanent teeth in the case of impacted canines. During orthodontic treatment, we first create space in the dental arch, and then, if it does not start to grow out on its own, we reach the permanent tooth trapped in the bone with a minimal surgical opening. Then a small button or bracket is attached to this, and with the orthodontic appliance, we gradually ``pull'' the tooth down to its place, with gentle, continuous pulling force.
The result is not just a beautiful smile, but a functionally intact, stable and lifelong set of teeth.

Orthodontics is not just about aesthetics. It is a complex treatment that establishes the healthy development of the entire body by improving muscle function (myofunction), and balancing posture (core). Removable braces not only straighten teeth, but also provide a stable foundation for healthy, balanced development.
By expanding the palate, we create space for the permanent teeth, thus avoiding later tooth extraction, while the nasal passages also open up, which results in easier nasal breathing and more restful sleep.
The device teaches the tongue and facial muscles to function and position correctly. Correct muscle work naturally shapes the cheekbones from the inside.
Since the position of the jaw has a direct impact on posture of the head and the cervical spine, by restoring the relationship of the jaws, we relieve the masticatory joint, which, in a chain reaction improves posture and stabilises the physical core balance of the whole body.

The jaw and pelvic floor are two openings of the same stabilizing chain.

When the jaw is tight, the tongue sits low, or the bite is unstable, the head does not stack the same way over the spine.

That changes how you breathe, how the diaphragm moves, how pressure builds through the core, and how much tension the pelvic floor has to hold.

This is why pelvic floor tension is not always a pelvic floor problem.

Sometimes the pelvis is bracing because the body is trying to stabilize what the jaw, tongue, and head are not organizing well.

Working only on the pelvis, hips, or core can help temporarily, but it can miss the signal coming from above.

The body stabilizes through pressure, breath, muscle tone, and gravity, not through isolated parts.

The Fix My Posture Bundle works from the top through the jaw and tongue, and from the bottom through the feet, so the nervous system receives better input from both ends of the chain 👇 https://posturepro.co/products/fix-my-posture-bundle?ch=fb

Better input helps the body stop repeating the same compensation.
