💚 World Mental Health Day | 10 October

Your mental health matters. 💚

Today is a gentle reminder to take a moment to check in with yourself and someone you care about. Sometimes, a little kindness, a listening ear, or simply asking “Are you okay?” can make a real difference.

At Dew Street Dental Practice, we believe wellbeing matters, and we’re here to support you — one smile at a time. 🦷🌿

Remember, it’s okay not to be okay, and it’s always okay to ask for help.

💚 Be kind to yourself. Check in with others. Keep talking.

🍂☕ Pumpkin spice season is here! 🎃

Cosy autumn drinks are a favourite, but some can contain more sugar than you might expect. A few simple swaps can help keep your smile happy while you enjoy your favourite seasonal treat. 🦷🤎

✨ Enjoy it rather than sipping all day
💧 Have water between drinks
🍯 Chose sugar free syrups whenever you can
🦷 Keep sugary drinks to mealtimes where possible

You don’t have to skip the pumpkin spice — just enjoy it mindfully! 🍁☕✨

🦷 A big thank you to Connect Pembrokeshire!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Daniel Metcalf from Metcalf Media Connect: Pembrokeshire for our lovely new information leaflets.
And thanks Andrew at Forrest Print for our signage. 🦷

We’re so pleased with how they’ve turned out and think they look fantastic in the practice! The new leaflets are a great way for us to share useful information with our patients and help everyone feel informed about the dental care we provide.

Thank you again to everyone involved in bringing these together — we really appreciate your support! 🦷

🎒 Back to school, back to routine! 🦷✨

The new school year is the perfect time to get those healthy habits back on track! From brushing twice a day and choosing water, to keeping sweet treats to mealtimes, small habits can make a big difference to little smiles. 💙

And if a dental check-up has slipped off the list over the summer, now is a great time to get it booked! 📅🪥

Healthy habits today = brighter smiles tomorrow! ✨
