Meet Shelley, our Receptionist!

Shelley is usually the first friendly face that will greet you on arrival for your appointment. She is so good with names and faces that she has usually checked you in before you have even said your name!

Shelley keeps reception running smoothly, and is always on hand to help make your visit as relaxed and positive as possible. 💙

A few fun facts about Shelley:
🏊‍♀️ She’s conquered the Great North Swim twice!
🦘 She’s forever dreaming of Australia
🥟 She’s currently on a dim sum mission

We’re so pleased to have Shelley as part of our team, helping make every visit to Hookstone Dental Care a welcoming one.

“Having gone through implant work, I am over the moon”

Linsey recently completed her dental implant treatment with Johnny and the team, and we’re delighted she’s so happy with the results.

“A lovely welcome starts my dental visits with Shelley and the reception staff. Followed by Johnny and his team, who provide great knowledge and care at every visit. Having gone through implant work, I am over the moon with the end product. I highly recommend this professional & friendly dental practice.”

Thank you, Linsey, for your lovely words and continued trust in our team! 💙

What actually happens during a digital scan of your teeth?

If you’ve ever had traditional dental impressions, you’ll know they can be a little… messy. 😬

Our digital scanner gives us a more accurate, detailed view of your teeth without the trays and impression material. It’s also quicker and more comfortable for you.

Less mess, more accurate, less fuss. 👊

Digital scans can be used for a range of treatments, including crowns, implants and clear aligners. For clear aligners, we can also use your scan with our orthodontic simulator to show you how your smile could potentially look after treatment.

Curious about what could be possible for your smile? Get in touch with our team to find out more.
