Welcome to The Dental Barn in Hailsham
At The Dental Barn we create a relaxed, fear free patient experience in beautiful surroundings, to encourage healthy and happy mouths. We are experts in helping patients overcome their fears when having to visit the Dentist. We are on a farm in beautiful relaxed surroundings, with our own car park to stop patients arriving too stressed. If anyone is too nervous to book an appointment they are able to come in for a coffee and a chat first with no cost or obligations. Our Hygienist care is gentle and calm. For the very nervous we can offer conscious sedation to help them have treatment. Please look at our reviews to help you make a decision.

There is an important difference between very early tooth decay and an actual hole in the tooth. Early enamel damage can sometimes be stopped or reversed, but once a cavity has formed, brushing harder will not make it disappear.

If one of the reasons you’ve been putting off an appointment is because you’re worried about being judged, this one’s for you 💙

Maybe it’s been years since your last check-up. Maybe brushing and flossing haven’t been brilliant lately. Maybe there’s something bothering you that you’ve been too embarrassed to mention, or you’re worried we’ll ask why you didn’t come in sooner.

None of that means you’ll get a lecture at The Dental Barn.

We’re far more interested in helping you from where you are now. You can tell us you’re nervous, ask questions, take breaks, and go at a pace that feels manageable.

We see people with all sorts of dental histories, and there is no prize for pretending everything is fine. The sooner we know what’s worrying you, the easier it is for us to help.

The hardest part is often just making that first appointment.
