Sad to hear the news about Captain Sir Tom Moore what inspirational man.

- Captain Sir Tom Moore has died after being hospitalised with Covid-19 on Sunday. He was aged 100. - The world war veteran raised millions of pounds for charity during the first national lockdown after walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.

In regards to the prime ministers announcement this evening, dental practices are NOT affected by the new measures.
Patients are advised to attend the dental appointments, as these are considered essential medical services.
We will be carrying on in the same way ensuring the all our patients and staff are protected by following COVID procedures such as the use of PPE, hand hygiene and social distancing guidelines.

Did you know?
Toothpaste tube, c.1930. Toothpaste been sold in tubes from the 1890s, before then toothpaste and toothpowder came in shallow ceramic pots and jars. The idea to package it in tubes came from artists paints, which were already being sold in metal tubes. Early toothpaste tubes were made of tin and lead, but a metal shortage during World War II led to mixed plastic and metal tubes. By the 1950s, suntan lotion was being packaged in plastic tubes, but toothpaste reacted with the polyethylene and all-plastic toothpaste tubes weren't completely introduced until the 1990s.
