✨Meet the team - Practice Manager - Tamsin

Tamsin began her journey with the practice in 2007 at the age of 19 as a receptionist. Through her dedication and passion for patient care, she was quickly promoted to Head Receptionist before beginning her dental nursing career in 2018, qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2020.

In 2021, Tamsin became Practice Manager and has since completed her Level 4 Practice Management qualification. She is also a qualified First Aider and Mental Health First Aider, always ensuring both patients and the team feel supported and cared for.

Outside of work, Tamsin enjoys long walks with her dog Minnie, crafting, and attending gigs and festivals whenever she can.

✨Meet the team - Dr Rachel Chen✨

Rachel graduated from the University of Manchester in 2023 and has since completed her Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Ed).

She enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative treatments. Rachel also provides clear aligner treatment, helping patients achieve straighter, healthier, and more confident smiles. She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques and advances in dentistry.

Early in her career, Rachel gained valuable experience working within Community Dental Services, where she supported a wide range of patients, including children, those with additional needs, and individuals who feel anxious about dental treatment. She understands that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for many people, so she always aims to create a calm, friendly, and reassuring environment. Rachel is qualified in both inhalation and intravenous sedation, which allows her to help nervous patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their care.

Outside of work, Rachel is a big foodie and loves travelling with her partner, exploring new cuisines and cultures around the world. To balance it out, she enjoys getting outdoors for long walks, hikes, and bike rides — especially anywhere surrounded by nature.
