WE ARE HIRING - Qualified Dental Nurse.
Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge for 2027?
We seek a motivated, pro-active, calm and caring dental nurse to join our small but very busy dental referral practice in Glenrothes, Fife. Knowledge of intra-oral scanning procedures and equipment along with excellent IT and admin skills would be advantageous. A keen interest in learning and self-development is essential for this specialised role.
Balbirnie Oral Care provides Private and NHS care to referred patients who come from Fife GDPs and beyond.
We primarily offer Specialist Endodontics, Dental Implants and Oral Surgery with a large focus on surgical procedures.
The position will be offered on a negotiable part-time basis (ideally 3 -4 days per week), with a highly competitive rate of pay, to the person who fits us best.
We anticipate interviews to be in the first week of November and a start date to be by January 2027 at the very latest.

WE ARE HIRING - Receptionist.
We seek a very special person to join our team as a Dental Receptionist.
On a day-to-day basis you will primarily be responsible for giving patients a very warm welcome, helping with their enquiries, treatment plans and handling payments and appointments. This may be face-to-face or by telephone or email. Another key part of the job is processing new referrals, creating patient records and making contact with new and existing patients by following the systems we have in place.
Previous experience in high-end hospitality or in a similar public-facing role would be advantageous. As would experience in a secretarial, admin or similar clerical support role.
A great smile, sincerity, discretion, patience and kindness are all important qualities to have. We would expect you to be able to manage your daily workflow and be self-driven in your time management.
An interest in development and progression within your role is important.
The position will be offered on a negotiable part-time basis (ideally 3 -4 days per week), with a highly competitive rate of pay, to the person who fits us best.

We seek a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team.

The role is offered with a view to you applying for and participating in a Modern Day Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing (or other similar training programme).
You will be awarded an SVQ and PDA in Dental Nursing on completion (or similar qualification).

This job is offered on a temporary contract for the duration of the training period. After qualification is achieved you will register with the GDC (General Dental Council) as a Dental Care Professional. At this point we will review your time with us and discuss your future (we would hope to offer you a permanent contract and increased pay. This will all be based on your work ethic, absences and general performance during your time with us).
We would anticipate the role to be full time (we open Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm) You would be released for the 6 days of 'in person' training to Dundee Dental Conference Centre throughout the course of the training (dates to be confirmed). Your 'course studies' would be planned and undertaken at Balbirnie Oral Care in a quiet room.
Pay will be in line with the National Minimum Wage during the training period.

We are excited to be searching for an additional dental nurse to join our busy team at Balbirnie Oral Care in Glenrothes, Fife.
We are a referral centre and primarily offer specialist oral surgery, specialist endodontics and dental implants.
If you are an enthusiastic, motivated, pro-active and caring dental nurse, with a sunny disposition, then this could be the job for you!
The position will be offered on a negotiable part time basis, with a competitive rate of pay, to the person who fits us best. We anticipate a start date in August 2025.
