🚨Important Notice for Our Patients🚨

From 1st April, there have been significant changes to benefits and patient exemptions that may affect you!

Benefits such as Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Tax Credits, and Child Tax Credits have now been removed & replaced by Universal Credit.

👉 Please be aware:
Being on Universal Credit does NOT automatically mean you are exempt from dental charges.
Eligibility now depends on your monthly takehome income.

✔️ You may qualify for help with dental costs if:
• Your monthly take-home pay is £435 or less
• OR £935 or less if you have a child or have been assessed as having limited capability for work

💡 It is the patient’s responsibility to check whether they qualify for exemption before making/attending their appointment.

We want to make sure you have the right information and avoid any unexpected charges , so please double check your eligibility.

EVERYONE is still entitled to free NHS dental check-ups in Scotland.

Everyone meet our newbie dentist Steven 🦷

Steven graduated from Glasgow University in 1998 and ran his own practice for 25 years, building a reputation for patient-focused care.

Now semi-retired, he works at Baillieston Dental Care, providing NHS and private treatments with a focus on prevention and restoration. Known for his calm approach, he helps patients feel at ease.

Steven is in practice on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

He enjoys staying active, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
