This patient initially presented with a failed restoration and a large cavity affecting the canine tooth.

The tooth was carefully prepared before being restored using a biomimetic composite approach, rebuilding the tooth while aiming to preserve as much healthy natural tooth structure as possible.

The composite was carefully layered, shaped and polished to recreate the tooth’s natural anatomy, form and colour, resulting in a strong, functional and aesthetic restoration.

A great example of how careful planning and composite techniques can restore a compromised tooth while maintaining a natural appearance.

✨🪥 Tips From Your Dentist: How to Clean Between Your Teeth Correctly 🪥✨

Brushing twice a day is essential, but your toothbrush can’t reach every surface of your teeth. Cleaning between your teeth once a day helps remove plaque from those harder to reach areas and supports healthy gums.

Here’s how to get the most from your routine:

• Allow around 2–3 minutes to clean thoroughly.
• Use enough floss, working with a fresh section for each space.
• Gently guide the floss between your teeth, never snap or force it.
• Curve the floss into a “C” shape around each tooth, gently moving it up and down below the gumline.
• For larger spaces, interdental brushes may be more effective. Your dentist or hygienist can recommend the right size.
• Be consistent. Bleeding can be a sign of inflammation, and regular daily cleaning can help improve this. If bleeding persists, speak to your dentist or hygienist.

Small changes to your daily routine can make a big difference to your oral health!
