Your skin's superhero: Skinpen Microneedling

I know deliberately traumatising your skin must sound mental, but hear me out!

The tiny, deliberate microchannels created in your skin through Microneedling literally makes your skin cells think 'oh no! I'm being scratched! Let's protect & rebuild!'

So it sends all of its little collagen and elastin soldiers to the site of the trauma. 🫡

And collagen and elastin are 2 of the most important building blocks of the scaffolding of your skin that keeps it firm, bouncy and radiant. ✨

A single session every 3 months or so can increase production by up to 400%, tricking your skin into working harder when it's supposed to slow down the collagen making process as we age.

I aim to budget with you to include this in every single patients maintenance plan because it would be a bit silly not to utilise the power of Microneedling. 💪

When you've got features this gorgeously striking, of course you want to maintain them!! 🪄

👎Concerns were:
Feeling tired around the eyes
Feeling a little sunken in the cheeks
Deepening of the lines around the mouth

👍What we did:
2 sittings of carefully placed cheek filler
3 sessions of under eye polynucleotides

Look how much BRIGHTER the eyes are,
How much SOFTER the transition is between the under eye/cheek/nasolabial areas,
& How much those lines around the mouth have softened, even though we didn't directly touch them 😮‍💨🤝

Delighted. Now on to the maintenance stage!

Yet another reason to elevate your at home skincare routine: to increase the longevity of your treatment!

If you're a regular wrinkle sprinkles patient who attends every 3 months, how does it sound to you (and your purse!!) to end up only needing repeat treatments around twice a year instead of four?

We go 'off label' alllllll the time!

It's pretty normal and accepted clinical practice, as long as you can justify your choice.

Other examples include changing the volume of dilution for a toxin,
Or treating a patient older than 65 with a toxin,
Or treating facial muscles other than the frown or frontalis (the 2 most commonly 'licensed use' areas depending on which brand of toxin you're utilising)

There are a million more examples across medicine! Feel free to drop some in the comments..

Can't believe I'm showing you some of these pics 😅😅

I used to avoid makeup cause it would flare my acne: dry, spotty, dull looking skin

Now I don't need makeup because my skincare is enough: healthy radiant, glowing

You can literally see the confidence in the collage Vs the old pics (old pics are also before masseters tox, I'm aware I used to be as square faced as Zac Efron, and not in a handsome way 🤣)

Skincare can literally change your life which is why I won't stop recommending a fine tuned, effective, at home routine 💙

(And yes I still drink Guinness and eat like it's an olympic sport so we can't thank a dietary change for the glow up 🤣🤣💙)
