🎄🍬 Christmas treats are here, but so are the risks to little teeth. 🍬🎄

At this time of year, many children (and adults!) end up indulging in a lot more sweets, chocolates and sugary snacks than usual.

📈 Here’s a fact to keep in mind: during holiday seasons and festive periods, sugar consumption tends to spike, and that sugar helps feed the bacteria in the mouth that cause cavities and enamel damage.

As the sweet treats multiply this Christmas, it’s a good idea to:
✅ Limit sweets to meal times instead of grazing all day
✅ Encourage rinsing with water after sugary snacks
✅ Stick to brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
✅ Offer tooth-friendly treats now and then

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Network Rail will be starting work on Wallbridge Railway bridge from Monday 6th October - Friday 28th November. This means that the A362 under the bridge will be closed during this time. Diversions will be signposted but please plan your routes ahead of time and allow enough to get to your appointments.
