Here are 3 simple habits to help look after your smile:

✨ Brush twice daily for 2 minutes with fluoride toothpaste.
✨ Clean between your teeth every day.
✨ Spit out after brushing rather than rinsing with water.

Small daily habits can make a big difference to your oral health!

When was your last dental check-up? 😊

💕 **Wishing Aleks the very best on her next adventure!** 👶✨

At the end of July, we said a very special “see you soon” to our lovely hygienist **Aleks**, who has headed off on maternity leave as she gets ready to welcome her **first baby, due this August!** 🍼💕

We couldn’t let Aleks leave without celebrating her properly, so we had **not one, but TWO celebrations!** 🥂🎉

🍽️ First up was a lovely evening meal at **Kara in Fleet**, where we enjoyed great food, lots of laughs and plenty of baby talk!

🧁 Then we had a special **practice celebration over lunchtime**, with the whole team getting together to wish Aleks well before she started her maternity leave.

We’re going to miss having Aleks around the practice — her friendly smile, caring nature and all the wonderful work she does for our patients. 🦷💗

But most importantly, we are SO excited for her as she begins this amazing new chapter. We can’t wait to hear the news when her little bundle arrives! 👶💕

**Good luck, Aleks — we’re sending you lots of love and best wishes for the exciting weeks ahead!** 💕✨

Today we’re celebrating **one whole year of having our lovely Jane as part of the Zebon Copse Dental team!** 🥳

Jane is a fantastic dental nurse who brings so much warmth, kindness and positivity to the practice. She’s always ready with a smile, a helping hand and, of course, plenty of laughs along the way! 😄

We’re so lucky to have you as part of our team, Jane, and we can’t believe how quickly the last year has gone!

🌟 **Thank you for everything you do — here’s to many more years with us!** 🥂

🚫 Dental habits we’d NEVER recommend… 🦷

❌ Using your teeth to open packages
❌ Brushing too hard
❌ Skipping floss because “brushing is enough”
❌ Googling your toothache instead of booking an appointment
❌ Sleeping without removing aligners or retainers properly
❌ Waiting until something hurts to see the dentist

Your teeth are strong — but they still need the right care 💙

Small daily habits make a huge difference to your oral health and can help prevent bigger problems later on.

Which one are you guilty of? 👀

Did you know seasonal allergies can affect your oral health too? 🌼🤧🦷

Hay fever doesn’t just impact your nose and eyes — it can also cause problems in your mouth.

Common allergy-related dental issues include:
• Dry mouth from antihistamines
• Bad breath
• Increased risk of cavities
• Sore throat from mouth breathing
• Tooth pain caused by sinus pressure

A few simple tips can help:
💧 Drink plenty of water
🪥 Keep up with brushing and flossing
👄 Use sugar-free gum to help with dry mouth
😴 Try to avoid sleeping with your mouth open

If you’ve noticed tooth pain or dryness during allergy season, our team is here to help.
