Some gradual change can occur over the years, but movement that is new, noticeable or accompanied by symptoms such as loose teeth, bleeding gums or discomfort is worth having assessed.

This patient came to us concerned about worn teeth and heavily stained fillings affecting the appearance of her smile.

Following a course of tooth whitening, Matt restored the six upper front teeth with composite veneers in a single appointment. No drilling or preparation of the underlying teeth was required, other than removing the old stained fillings.

The lower fillings were also replaced with aesthetic composite restorations to complete the transformation.

A natural-looking result that the patient was delighted with. 🦷

"I visited Farsley dental after years of not going to the dentist due to bad experiences at other practices leaving me nervous and apprehensive about getting help. I took a leap of faith after reading positive reviews and booked an appointment with Jon who assessed my teeth and talked through treatment options, and what this involved. I’ve just had my first round of treatment and can honestly say my faith is restored. Jon is kind, caring, patient, and totally put me at ease throughout. Made a stressful situation virtually enjoyable! The nurses and reception staff are really lovely too, couldn’t ask for more. Your natural tooth colour is unique to you, and perfectly healthy teeth can be anything from off-white to slightly yellow in appearance.

What matters more? Healthy gums, looking after your teeth every day and keeping on top of your routine dental visits. 🪥

So don’t compare your smile to the ultra-white ones you see online.
