Matt joined the Farsley Dental team in 2014 and takes a minimally invasive approach to dentistry, with a particular interest in Invisalign, composite bonding, restorative dentistry and dental implants.
Since qualifying from Sheffield Dental School with honours in 2010, Matt has continued to develop his clinical experience through extensive postgraduate education. He completed a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry with distinction and a postgraduate diploma in Implant Dentistry, also with distinction.
His research has been published in the British Dental Journal, and in 2019 Matt received the ‘Best Young Dentist’ award at the Dentistry Awards. He was also named ‘Clinician of the Year’ at the Dentex Portman Awards in 2024.
Beyond the practice, Matt has volunteered internationally to provide emergency dental treatment to communities with limited access to dental care, including in Cambodia, India, Fiji, Peru, Greece and Bangladesh.
Away from dentistry, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Lam, their sons Dylan and Ethan, and Ronnie the cat — and when he gets the chance, you’ll find him cycling, preferably up a mountain!
