Meet the Team: Katrina Reid 💙

Today we're shining a spotlight on Katrina Reid, one of our talented Dental Therapists and Facial Aesthetic Practitioners.

Katrina joined the Elmsleigh House team in 2019 after qualifying as a Dental Hygiene Therapist from the University of Portsmouth. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles and is known for her gentle, friendly approach that helps put even the most nervous patients at ease.

As part of our busy hygiene team, Katrina provides professional hygiene treatments using Airflow technology, helping patients keep their teeth and gums healthy while achieving that fresh, clean feeling. She has also expanded her expertise into facial aesthetics and now offers a range of rejuvenating facial treatments at the practice.

Whether you're visiting for hygiene care, dental therapy treatment or facial aesthetics, Katrina is dedicated to helping you feel confident in your smile and your appearance.

A life-changing smile transformation for Mr H ✨

When Mr H first came to Elmsleigh House, he was unhappy with the appearance of his worn teeth and uncomfortable dentures, which no longer fitted properly. Together with Cathleen Perrin and Professor Bill Sharpling, a carefully planned treatment journey was created to restore both his confidence and comfort.

Rather than removing healthy teeth, the team worked to preserve and strengthen them using cosmetic composite bonding alongside beautifully crafted new dentures designed specifically to improve function, facial support and appearance.

The final result completely transformed Mr H’s smile, bite and confidence, all while staying true to the goals that mattered most to him.

This case is a lovely example of how personalised dentistry and collaborative care can achieve incredible results 💙
