We are a NHS and private dental practice situated on Pinhoe Road in Exeter We offer all general dentistry but also dental implants and Invisalign orthodontics.

Pinhoe Dental Centre has been serving the local population for almost 70 years, some of our patients have been coming here since it opened! Over the years we have expanded into a 7 surgery practice treating NHS and private patients. Our ethos focuses on helping patients improve their oral health. We run weekly sessions to create bespoke oral health plans for each patient based on their individual needs.

came to visit wanting to address the spacing between her otherwise well aligned teeth. A course of tooth whitening and composite bonding to close the gaps left her with a lovely natural result and no damage to the teeth more importantly!

🦷 When a filling isn’t just ‘a filling’ 🦷
This LR6 had a big old amalgam that had fractured round the edges and had decay beneath. Dam on, cleaned out the old filling and decay. Second image can see how deep it is subgingival. Third image, gingivectomy performed, fourth deep margin elevation band on. Fifth image with double curve Tor VM matrix positioned and sixth, the finished article. That one made me sweat 😅

This lovely patient had suffered a horse kick to the face when she was younger and lost a tooth 😱
At the time she had an upper right premolar removed and transplanted into the UL3 region to replace the lost tooth. However, over time it’s become apparent the tooth isn’t the same length as the ones around it.
We decided to do 3 ceramic veneers UL245 to make the premolar look more like a canine and make everything more symmetrical with the right side.
Fitted today, and symmetry restored 🤩

This young lady didn’t like the uneven lengths of her teeth and the gappiness. We opted for 9 milled composite veneers with minimal preparation to the front 4 teeth. Another lovely result 🙂

.manser with the latest smile upgrade.
Some trauma to her teeth when she was younger and some overcrowding bought Brady to my door. After some Invisalign, whitening and composite bonding she now has a smile she loves to show off 😁

✨ Michelle’s dream smile ✨
For years Michelle has been meaning to get round to sorting her teeth out which she felt were a bit misaligned and discoloured.
Having already had some ceramic work done previously on the upper right side, we decided to go for ceramic veneers on 5 teeth and a resin retained bridge to replace the upper left premolar.
She was thrilled, and the before and after portrait photo shows the real impact.
2nd photo is pre - prepped - and post. Minimal preparation veneers 😊

Zirconia veneers 💣
This patient wanted to improve his worn smile, and replace the crown which looked too white next to his natural teeth. Replaced the crown with a new zirconia crown, and then placed 5 zirconia veneers on the surrounding teeth.
My first zirconia veneer case, but will definitely be doing more of these 🙂
