Our aim is to offer a friendly and professional service to all our patients, young and old in a relaxed environment.

Irish, King and Associates is a Private and NHS Dental Practice in the heart of Exeter, Devon. We are a family friendly practice and encourage parents to introduce their children to regular dental check-ups from an early age. All of our children are seen on the NHS until they turn 18 or 19 if in full time education. If any aspect of your dental appearance concerns you, no matter how trivial it may seem, please discuss it with us. We are able to provide tooth whitening and Implants.

A message from Phil

It is with sadness and joy that I am writing to inform you that ‘the old welsh bloke’ is finally retiring.
I have been talking about it for a few years and it has eventually happened, but I have a feeling that my wife and dog will want me to return!

I have had 36 happy years at 95 Pinhoe road and count myself so very fortunate to have treated so many lovely people over this time.
I would like to thank you for being a patient patient (Mmm time keeping!)

I have tried to be caring and gentle.

I hope you will continue to be a patient at the practice and I am leaving you in the capable hands of a young lady called Josie, who was our foundation dentist in 2020 so she is familiar with the practice.

I am happy, as I know I need to finish, but sad because your chats will be missed.

After 12 months of telling patients that he was retiring, that day has finally arrived. After 36 years at 95 Pinhoe Road, Phillip has today hung up his drill for good. He will be missed by both by his patients and all the staff who have worked along side him over the years. We all wish him a great retirement with lots of walks with Bruno his dog and many cream teas. And if any of you do meet him make sure you stop and chat, as he always loves a chat.

Today our lovely nurse Ami is celebrating her 30th birthday. She is spending the afternoon lunching and shopping. The whole team wishes her many happy returns for the day.

On Friday, our lovely practice manager Emma Stevens celebrated a big birthday. A gentleman never asks a lady her age but she was somewhere between 49 and 51! She is having a few days off to get over the shock of being in the same decade as me. From all the team and I’m sure all our patients we wish her a very happy weekend. Aidan and Phil.

For those of you who have not heard, this is happy relaxed Lucy, who followed her heart and has moved to Bristol to live with her partner Andy. After 20 years of loyal caring service for her patients and a lovely part of the team, we can do nothing except wish her all the love and happiness she deserves. Thanks Lucy. Love all the team xx

Just to let everyone know that even after tomorrow when it will no longer be a legal requirement to wear face coverings indoors, the rules have not changed for medical or dental settings. So it is exactly as it has been for the last year with face coverings worn in the practice and maintain social distancing. We are still limiting the number of people in the practice at any one time. We cannot let anyone into the practice until 5 minutes before we open in the morning or after lunch as we need to socially distance staff also. Many thanks for your continued support. Aidan

We are delighted to welcome Grace to the team. She is a qualified dental nurse but will be splitting her time between reception and nursing. We hope she will be very happy with us.

Today we said happy retirement to one of our long standing team members. Wendy has been with us for 26 years and for someone so small in stature, she was a huge part of the practice. We wish her all happiness and good health for her next life chapter. Aidan and Phil.
