Rest in Peace your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The Specialist Orthodontic Practice will be closed on Monday 19th September to mark the state funeral of Her Majesty.

Braces off for this wonderful young lady who has achieved an excellent result with the use of a removable appliance, fixed orthodontic appliances and extraction of four teeth.

It is important to understand that comprehensive orthodontic treatment in complex cases can utilise multiple different appliances and will require a high level of patient motivation and compliance. This includes maintaining a high level of oral hygiene during treatment but also ensuring over the treatment period they maintain a diet which is brace friendly.

This young patient was exceptional hence why she has achieved an optimal result with a beautiful smile 😃

A multidisciplinary case which involved both fixed orthodontic appliances and clear aligner therapy using Invisalign aligners.

This patient achieved an excellent aesthetic and functional result. Following her orthodontic treatment she then saw her cosmetic dentist for composite buildups of the microdont lateral upper incisor teeth to enhance her aesthetics.

The case was retained by upper lower fixed retainer and clear vacuum formed retainers at night.

Treatment duration 14 months. 😀
