Your gums bleed when you floss… so you stop flossing.
Makes sense, right?
Actually… not quite. 👀
Bleeding gums can be a sign that your gums are inflamed, often because plaque is building up around them.
Keeping the area clean is important, although persistent bleeding shouldn’t just be ignored.
If your gums regularly bleed when brushing or flossing, it’s worth visiting your dentist or hygienist.
