We did it!

Last Friday, our team laced up their boots and walked 25km of the stunning Fife Coastal Way from Leven to Anstruther and we are so proud to share that together, we raised £3,259 for the Mouth Cancer Foundation 🎉

Every step was worth it. Every donation made a difference. Mouth cancer affects thousands of people every year, and every pound raised goes towards raising awareness, supporting patients and saving lives through early detection.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, cheered us on and shared our fundraiser. You made this possible 💙

This is because our team will be taking part in our 25km charity walk along the Fife Coastal Way, from Leven to Anstruther, in support of the Mouth Cancer Foundation 🩵

We’re proud to be stepping away from clinic for the day to help raise awareness of mouth cancer, support patients, and promote the importance of early detection.

Last Saturday we welcomed our delegates for the Oral Surgery Skills Workshop, led by Dr David Offord, Dr Fiona Wright and Dr Stuart McLaren.

This hands-on workshop gave GDPs valuable insights across dental anatomy, core extraction techniques, instrumentation and flap design, equipping them with the practical skills and clinical confidence to approach extractions in everyday practice with greater certainty.

Today is World Gum Health Day 🦷

Gum disease is one of the most common oral health conditions, yet many people ignore early signs such as bleeding, swelling, or persistent bad breath.

At Vermilion, Dr Louise O'Dowd, Dr Jackie Davidson, and our hygiene team work together to help prevent, manage, and treat gum disease in referred patients.

Healthy gums are essential not only for your smile, but for your overall health too.
