On 11th & 12th September, join Dr David Treagus for a 2-day CPD programme built to give GDPs real, predictable confidence in primary and re-root canal treatment, not just another set of slides.

Two days of evidence-based teaching, live demonstrations, and genuine hands-on practice across a range of tooth anatomies. Small groups. A structured approach you can actually take back into practice on Monday morning.

You'll leave knowing how to diagnose with confidence, select and assess the right cases, prepare and obturate predictably, manage complications when they arise.

A journey to a healthy, natural smile. 🫶🏼

This patient was referred to Vermilion with a temporary denture after losing several teeth, hoping to be denture free and to have a beautiful smile that was tailored to her.
Gum health came first, stabilising things during the not-so-fun-but-necessary part of treatment. From there, implants were placed and a little reshaping of the gums helped everything sit just right, so the new smile would look as natural as possible.

On Friday 2 October, in partnership with The Edinburgh Practice, we're hosting a full day of CPDA approved learning that looks beyond the smile, exploring the links between periodontal disease, systemic health, and the wider factors shaping patient outcomes.

All set in the historic Mansion House at Edinburgh Zoo, with an exclusive animal experience for delegates on the day.

The morning: Dr Louise O'Dowd and Dr Jackie Davidson on perio and systemic wellbeing, from inflammation to menopause and stress.

The afternoon: Dr Julia Hannon and Dr Rosemary Cochrane of The Edinburgh Practice on whole-person care, from mental health and neurodiversity to menopause and HRT.

Some milestones deserve a moment in the spotlight. 🎓

On Monday, our Endodontic Clinician Dr Steve Bonsor officially graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Edinburgh.
His thesis examined the role of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy in the disinfection of the root canal system of human permanent teeth in vivo. Research with real clinical relevance to the endodontic care he delivers every day.

What makes this achievement special isn’t just the title. It’s what it represents: years of commitment to learning and research, long after most would have considered their studying done.

The mindset of lifelong learning runs through everything we do at Vermilion and Steve embodies it completely.

Congratulations, Dr Bonsor. Richly deserved. 👏👏
