Have you ever heard of a sinus graft? If you’re planning to undergo dental treatment, there’s a chance that you might need to get one. To help you better understand what this procedure entails, let us explain it to you in detail.

A sinus graft is a surgical procedure that’s performed when the sinus floor has collapsed. This usually happens when you lose your teeth over a period of time. The roots of the teeth were previously holding up the sinus floor, but since the teeth are no longer there, the sinus floor starts to come down. As a result, the space where your teeth used to be is no longer there, which can pose a problem if you’re planning to get implants.

To address this issue, we need to lift the floor of the sinus and rebuild the jawbone to its previous state when you still had teeth. This is important because we need to ensure that the implants we place will be strong enough to support new teeth. The procedure requires us to go into the sinus to lift the floor and rebuild the jawbone. Once this is done, we can then proceed to place implants that will provide the necessary support for your new teeth.

Vitamin D plays a much bigger role in dental implant success than most people realise.

Vitamin D plays an important role in how well an implant integrates with the bone. This process, called osseointegration, is how your bone connects to the implant — and it’s your body doing the work, not the implant. 🦴

Bone is living tissue. It changes and adapts over time, which is why we want to give it the best possible conditions to heal. Some teeth actually carry forces greater than your body weight every single day, so the quality of the bone underneath really matters.

That’s why we sometimes look at vitamin levels and overall biology before treatment —
anything that helps support healing and long-term success is worth doing. ✨

Did you know your back teeth do some of the hardest work in your mouth? 😲

Molars are right next to your jaw joint, which means they handle an enormous amount of force. For some people, it can be hundreds of kilos every time they bite or chew!

That’s why when I replace teeth with implants, it’s not just about filling a gap. It’s about supporting your natural teeth so they last a lifetime.

Want your natural teeth to last a lifetime? Let’s chat about the right care and implants for you. 👇

When it comes to dental implants, precision matters. The way each component fits together plays a key role in how strong, stable, and long-lasting the final result will be.

In this video, I explain how precision screws are used to secure an implant bridge in place. They’re tightened in a very controlled way — similar to how a car wheel is torqued — to achieve a secure, reliable grip.

This level of precision helps:

→ Keep implant bridges stable and secure
→ Prevent movement over time
→ Improve long-term comfort and function
→ Support restorations that are built to last

Every implant case is carefully planned, and every component has to work together perfectly. These details are what make implant dentistry predictable and long-lasting.

Struggling to eat with a denture that won’t stay in place? 👇

This client came to see me because her denture kept breaking and she was struggling to eat properly. She still had a few teeth at the front, but overall the denture wasn’t giving her the stability or confidence she needed day to day.

After carefully planning her treatment, we placed dental implants and designed a custom-made denture. The denture is connected to the implants using a custom-milled bar, which gives it strength, stability, and a much more secure fit.

The result is a denture that stays firmly in place, feels more natural, and allows her to eat comfortably again — without the constant worry of breakage or movement. 🍽️

Cases like this show how implant-supported solutions can completely change quality of life when traditional dentures simply aren’t working. ✨

As an implant dentist, my goal is always maximum precision with minimum invasion. Using the Waterlase laser allows me to achieve a level of accuracy that traditional tools simply can’t match.

With this technology, I can remove teeth gently and safely, reducing trauma to the surrounding tissue. That means less discomfort for my patients and a smoother, faster recovery — which is especially important when we’re preparing for implants.

I love showing patients that even something that sounds intimidating, like tooth removal, can be comfortable and controlled with the right approach.
