💙 25 years at Duns… and now it’s time for a new chapter.
After long time at our Duns practice, we’re saying a very special thank you and farewell to Morag, as she begins her retirement. 🥹✨
Morag has been such a huge part of the Duns team over the years, bringing her experience, humour, kindness and, of course, plenty of banter along the way!
To celebrate her incredible 25 years, the Duns team put together this little poem for their much-loved “Mo”. 💙
A Very Special Thank You to Morag
Twenty five years at Duns, and what a journey it’s been,
Through changes, new faces, and all that you’ve seen.
You’ve been the glue that has held us together through the years,
With wise words, good humour, and sometimes a few tears.
You know this place inside out; there’s nothing you don’t know.
With sharp wit and a mischievous smile that always seems to show.
With that twinkle in your eye, you’ve certainly left your mark.
And we’ll miss your laugh and banter after this new journey on which you embark.
Your wise words and advice have guided us through the years,
And your calm reassurance has eased many worries and fears.
You’ve been part of Duns through good times and through change,
A familiar face whose presence never felt strange.
A fortress built of kindness, strong to the core,
Fierce as a winter gale when you’re guarding the door.
But underneath all that strength, as we’ve all come to see,
You’re the biggest softy, our much loved “Mo” you’ll always be.
So now it’s time for a brand new start,
With no more dentistry taking up your heart.
No more “ETA?” or “10–4” to say,
Just plenty of time to enjoy every day!
So here’s to retirement, to freedom and fun,
To adventures and mornings when there’s nowhere to run!
