From 1st November please be aware that the new model for NHS Scotland Dentistry will commence. The will result is significant difference to care and related costs .
For example Emergency Appointment and Denture Repairs will all carry a patient charge to non exempt patients .
This is a Scottish wide change set by Scottish Government and is not unique to our Practice. These changes have had to be implemented to give NHS Dentistry a chance of being available in the future of the Scottish Healthcare System.
The profession was told that there would be a public awareness campaign in advance of this change but sadly it seems not to have occurred to any great extent.

Due to the planned industrial action by the teachers over the next few months this will sadly have an impact on our staffing levels in our team as many of us have children of school age . The is obviously out with our control. This has resulted in the team having to implement triage system to prioritise all care over next few months which many result in appointments being cancelled. We can only apologise about this in advance if you are affected .
