It is our pleasure to announce that Bank Street Dental Surgery will be expanding to a new, larger premises to better serve our patients and the Dumfries & Galloway community!

For all of our loyal patients, please be reassured that we will continue to provide the same high standard of care as a fully NHS practice — proudly keeping you smiling since 1986 😀

Our new location will be:
27 Castle Street, Dumfries, DG1 1DL 📍

All existing patients will automatically remain with us, and there is nothing you need to do. We’ll also be taking on new patients so please keep an eye on our socials as we’ll soon be opening a waiting list and taking details in the near future.

Bank Street Dental will remain a dental practice but under new ownership so for those patients who wish to remain there, they would be free to do so.

This patient wanted a repair to some old composite bonding they’d had on their canines that had been placed by another dentist. After a consultation appointment, we decided on subtle and natural enhancement.

Final result? Very cutesy, very demure, very mindful✨

“That’s excellent, such a difference!”

Feedback doesn’t get much better than this. This tooth was root treated and heavily broken down. The existing root treatment was sound so we went ahead to build up a core and then placed a crown on top to restore this tooth to its normal function and aesthetics. Needless to say the patient was very happy with the outcome.

Hi everyone.As you know we recently did a patient recruitment exercise on the premise that we're getting new NHS Dentists come August.Unfortunately,one of them has been unable to secure accommodation in Dumfries so she has to commute from Glasgow for now.We are appealing to anyone who's able to help her secure a flat as soon as possible as none are being advertised on the usual websites.
