Orange Tree Dental's 2026 Charity Challenge!
Following the success of last year's coastal hike from Whitby to Saltburn, we’ve decided to skip across the moors and take on its southern border for this year’s challenge.
Having successfully negotiating Yorkshire’s cliffs we’re taking on a new challenge – the Normans! Or, more accurately, the journey between 2 of their defensive strongholds.
Starting our journey at Pickering Castle, we’ll be heading northwards onto the moors before travelling east, passing through Dalby Forest before emerging onto the coast, and Scarborough Castle.
It’ll feel like a marathon - not least because Scarborough Castle is at the opposite end of 26 miles worth of hiking, climbing and clambering.
Have we still got it in us? Hopefully so!
We're taking on this challenge in a single day later this summer, hoping to raise money for our chosen charity, Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who has sponsored us over the years. To date we've raised nearly £9000 through various charity challenges.
